Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information the Color Garden: Color by Number mobile app (the “App”) collects, how it is used and the choices you have. The App is developed and published by TOMX (“we”, “us”).
- No sign-up. We never ask for your name, email or phone number.
- The App creates an anonymous ID so your progress and statistics can be counted.
- Ads are provided by Google AdMob. Personalized ads are shown only if you allow tracking.
- You can delete all your data at any time in the App: Settings → Delete account.
1. Information we collect
a) Anonymous identifier
When you open the App for the first time, an anonymous account is created automatically with a random user ID. It is not linked to your name, email address or Apple ID. You can see this ID in Settings.
b) Device and app information
Device model, operating system and version, app version, the language and region set on your device, and your time zone. The region comes from your device settings — we do not use GPS or precise location.
c) Usage information
- When your account was created and when you last used the App, number of sessions and total play time.
- Gameplay events such as opening or completing a picture, the time it took, hints used and pictures unlocked.
- How many ads were shown or watched, and whether you allowed tracking on iOS.
d) Advertising information (Google AdMob)
The App shows ads through Google AdMob. Google may collect your device's advertising identifier (on iOS only if you allow tracking), IP address, approximate location derived from it, and how you interact with ads. This collection is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. Learn how Google uses information from apps that use its services: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
e) Information that stays on your device
Your painting progress, favourites, unlocked pictures, hints and settings are stored only on your device. When you tap Save, the finished picture is added to your Photos; the App asks only for permission to add photos and cannot see your photo library.
What we do not collect
Name, email address, phone number, contacts, precise location, photos from your library or payment information.
2. How we use information
- To run the App and keep your anonymous account working.
- To understand how the App is used (for example, which pictures are popular or too difficult) and improve it.
- To show ads and limit how often they appear.
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Advertising and tracking
On iOS, the App asks for permission to track through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you decline, you will see non-personalized ads. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Users in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are shown a consent form (Google's User Messaging Platform) before any ads are requested. Ads in the App are limited to content suitable for general audiences.
4. Where your information is stored and who processes it
- Our servers: your anonymous account and usage information are stored on servers we operate using the open-source Supabase platform.
- Google (AdMob): advertising, as described above. Google may process data in countries other than yours.
- Apple: distributes the App through the App Store and TestFlight under its own privacy policy.
5. Legal bases (EEA/UK users)
We process information to provide the App you requested (performance of a contract), for our legitimate interests in understanding and improving the App and keeping it secure, and on the basis of your consent for personalized advertising and tracking.
6. How long we keep information
We keep your anonymous account and usage information for as long as the account exists. When you delete your account, this information is removed from our servers. We may keep aggregated statistics that cannot identify you.
7. Your choices and rights
- Delete your data: in the App, go to Settings → Delete account. Your account and all related information are deleted from our servers immediately, and your progress on the device is cleared.
- Limit ad tracking: decline the tracking prompt or change it in iOS Settings at any time.
- Other rights: depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or Turkey's KVKK), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your information. Contact us and include the user ID shown in Settings so we can find your data.
8. Children
The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Security
Information is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access to it is restricted. Each anonymous account can only read and write its own data.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date above, and we will notify you in the App if the changes are significant.
